Virtual afternoon tea party

Eileen Donaghey is very excited to announce the details for a special afternoon tea party taking part in August. The virtual tea party, will take place the week before Afternoon Tea Week 2023 and will show you how to prepare your own afternoon tea at home. This means you will have some new helpful tips and ideas to plan your own afternoon tea event, just in time for afternoon tea week 2023!

The event will showcase an afternoon tea that Eileen has made at home and she will discuss:

  • How to get started with planning an afternoon tea event

  • Choosing a theme for your afternoon tea party and integrating the theme through the food, decoration, dress and invitations

  • Hosting tips when inviting guests to your home

  • Tea brewing - how to serve tea as a hostess

  • General serving tips

  • Table setting

This is only the second time that the Afternoon Tea Expert has held a public virtual afternoon tea party. The event will take place online on August 6th at 4:30pm BST.
